Rebels Football

Football players are divided by grade and weight. Check NYFL.net  for more details or contact us for more information.


Those playing under "X-man" rules must only weigh in with Natural Weight (no pads) and are only allowed to be positioned on offensive or defensive line between the tackle positions. Super X-man players can weight up to 165 lbs without pads and are offensive line only.


Football teams will compete for a chance to make it to the post season. If they advance through the play-offs, they will compete for the NYFL Championship in the Super Bowl.

Grades 2nd - 4th

 

Grade is determined as of August 1st of the current year. 

4th grade players can waiver to JV 


Maximum Weight Limit with Equipment - 131 lbs.

X - Man Natural Weight Limit - 135 lbs (No pads)

JV Division

Grades 5th & 6th

  

Grade is determined as of August 1st of the current year. 


Maximum Weight Limit with Equipment - 152 lbs.

X - Man Natural Weight Limit - 155 lbs (No pads)

NOTE: 12 year old's cannot turn 13 on or before December 1st of current year and must be in 6th grade.

all waivers are up to the football gm and league approval.

Football Practice

Football teams will practice 5 days a week for the first three weeks until the season starts. The schedule will then be modified to 3-4 days of practice, film review and game prep. Generally, practice will run from 6pm-8pm. Weather and game schedule could always play into the practice schedule.
