UPDATE ! ! !
Beckett is home and Cancer FREE !!!
We couldn't be more thankful and blessed that our little Warrior won the biggest battle. We are so happy Beckett is home now with his family, friends and monster trucks he loves so much.
Thank you Rebel Nation for your continued support, love and concern for a big part of our Rebel Family
Here you will find the story of our Warrior, Beckett Fowler.
Beckett and his Family are original members of the Rebels. His father Brett has helped coach the last three years and his mother, Tammie was our fundraising coordinator. Beckett's parents have spent countless hours helping to provide an atmosphere where other kids can develop on and off the field. Beckett (3 yrs old) was our first official "security guard" as he bounces around the field and cheer competitions rooting on his brother Aaron and sisters Cadence and Paisley. Beckett's smile is contagious and his laughter is healing. His preciousness and innocence is a constant reminder of how important our youth is. They are blessings in the most amazing forms. Recently Beckett was diagnosed with ATRT, a rare cancer. His fight has begun and he has come out swinging. One of our mantras with the Rebels has always been "Relentless" and Beckett is the going to show us all what that really means.
Below find the updates from his family on his fight with ATRT. You can also find a link below for his Go Fund Me page as well as T-shirts that are available.
Above all...please join us in lifting his name up in prayer and positive energy.
Update from Family 3/23/23
We regret to inform our family and friends that we have more horrific news than the tumor we found last week. Beckett has just been diagnosed with an atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (ATRT). This is a very aggressive and rare cancer that is said to be grade 4. He will need chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and radiation over the next 9 months depending on how his body reacts with each one. We will know how much once we get the MRI next week and then chemo starting on April 4. We are lost, we are broken, we are trying to get through the shock like you all probably are now. We will of course be positive and happy around Beckett because we need to keep him happy and strong to make it through all of this awfulness. We have no other words.
Thank you for prayers, go fund me donations, love and support. We do ask at this time that any other questions be written down and asked at a later time. We are just trying our best to stay as positive as we can and allow our close family and friends to get as much time as possible with him before we start this horrendous and scary journey where we WILL fight to come out on top.
Update from Family 3/30/23
Doctors, doctors, and more doctors today. Beckett made everyone smile at every appointment he went to. He was his happy and hilarious self! This alone
is positive for the rest of therapy!
We need prayers to make sure this tumor isn’t anywhere else or just gone. MRI tomorrow will decide this. He will be sedated from 10-2 to get all this imaging so there will be a lot of waiting tomorrow. Either way, radiation and chemo is happening no matter what. But no matter what:
We are strong. We are relentless. We are #beckettswarriors
Update from MRI 3/31/23
Beckett 90% has to do another surgery to get more out that is still there. Waiting on the doctors from brain surgery to confirm either tonight or tomorrow. This will most likely be next week depending on scheduling. After that, we will be pushed back another couple of weeks for radiation.
It is NOT in the spine though and only still in that spot. Since there was no mri done after surgery, we don’t know if they just didn’t get a lot or if it grew.
We are calling this a WIN!! Surgery will be tough but we did it once, now he will be a pro!!
Thank you everyone for getting shirts to support B man!! He’s so lucky to have all of you on his team!!
Update from Doctor Visit 4/11/23
The best possible position we could be in to have the best outcome is what we have!!! Radiation starts next week for six weeks, home for 4 weeks, and back for 4-5 months for chemo!
No cancer cells in the spinal fluid!!!!
Pathology of tumor taken out still has a diagnosis of ATRT.
Update from Family 6/14/23
Beckett is home for a little bit after finishing his 30 rounds of radiation treatments like the Relentless Warrior he is. Soon Beckett will head back to the hospital for rounds of Chemo. Please continue to keep our Warrior Beckett in your thoughts and prayers as he shows ATRT who he is!
